Task for the day? Finish my personal statement. It's been stressing me out for months, I feel like I'm behind everyone in the application process, am I? Let me know! I have seen people on the UCAS facebook page already saying they've got offers, so this has made my motivation levels increase somewhat.
I think it's the same for everyone, writing about yourself is really hard. I'm a pessimist too so it doesn't help my case when I'm trying to come up with positive things about myself! I think I've gathered everything I need now though and I'm sitting down in an hour to finish it up and tick the "section complete" button.
Deciding what to include in my personal statement has been quite the predicament: do I talk about the fact that I've been home schooled for the past few years?? Well, I have decided to go ahead and talk (write) about it all because I think that in the end it's had a really positive impact on my personality and has made me even stronger and more determined than I was before.
I'll update this post later this evening to let you know if my mission was accomplished!
Update: I did indeed complete my personal statement - phew! I just need to check check and re-check the spelling/grammar and it'll be ready to be sent off.
